California 2017

Hello everyone, I hope you all had a great week!! As for me I am sitting here in my room on a nice quiet evening taking a break from the going out thing. Its monsoon season here in Arizona and we just got a nice rain here. Jut makes me want to stay home and cuddle up on the couch with some hot chocolate. But then again I am more of a homebody anyways!

Recently I just went to San Diego with my boyfriend and we had an amazing trip!! We did Airbnb the whole trip and it’s such a good way to travel and saves SO MUCH money! I would recommend Airbnb to anyone looking for a cheaper way to travel. We stayed 2 nights in San Diego and 2 nights in Long Beach. We went to a lot of different beaches and ate at a bunch of different restaurants. Unfortunately I didn't take pictures of everywhere we went but I did get some good shots.

I will give you an overview of our 2 days in San Diego. The first day we arrived at about 3pm and we were starving so we went to go eat at a Japanese BBQ place called “Gyu-Kaku Japanese BBQ” and it was so good!! It was a really cool experience because we got to cook our own food and it was delicious and bibimbap is now one of my favorite dishes. Its pretty much a giant hot stone bowl with beef and a variety of vegetables. It’s so good and I also recommend that. After that we headed to the San Diego beach and it was a chilly afternoon but nonetheless it was beautiful! We walked all the way to the end of the pier and then took a swim in the waves. After that we naturally got more food and gorged ourselves some more then headed back home to get some sleep. The next morning we headed up to the point Loma Tide Pools and it was one of my favorite places. It was so cool I loved seeing all the crabs and slugs! We spent about a good 3 hours there and I had a surprise for my boyfriend later that night so we headed home to change and quickly headed to our next location. I surprised him by taking us to the San Diego County fair! It was so cool and guys …. The food was amazing!! (Sorry I didn't take pictures, very un-millennial of me) Typical fair food but so amazing. The rides looked really cool too but we only went on about 4 because 1.) food and 2.) tickets are very expensive! But besides that we had an amazing night full of fun and food, so really what else could I ask for?

The next morning we headed up towards Long beach and took the PCH which is the Pacific Coast Highway 1. It’s a really beautiful drive and is most of the time right on the coast so you get to see a lot of cool shops and beaches. When we got into Long Beach we checked into our location and then headed to Redondo Beach and to be honest out of all the beaches we went to Redondo was my favorite! It was really beautiful and clean. It was such an amazing day at the beach that i fell asleep on my towel and then when I woke up we saw this girl carrying a giant sea slug. It was sweet looking! We then went to go do some paddleboarding and it was so much fun! And not as hard as I expected it to be. I loved it! After that we headed to go get some pizza at a place called “Mickey's Italian Delicatessen and Liquor store” it was a small joint and they sold food but also kind of gas station food like chips and sodas. We ordered a small chicken BBQ pizza (I am a huge fan of chicken on pizza, it’s amazing) and guys I only paid about 16 dollars for this pizza and it was HUGE and one of the best pizzas ever. To top it all off it was right by the beach so we took our pizza box, walked to the beach and ate our pizza. We watched the sun set and it was a movie perfect moment. The pizza was so big we ended up giving the rest away to some fellow beach goers. Our last day there we went to Venice beach and did the whole board walk and it was a really cool thing to experience. Not to mention it was July 4th so there was a lot of energy in the air. Venice is really interesting because it’s also known as muscle beach a lot of famous muscle competitors went there one of the very famous ones being Arnold Schwarzenegger. There was a lot of cool shops and art along the boardwalk. Since it was the fourth of July we headed to a place called the thousand steps … or something like that? It was really amazing! Fireworks blew off all night we were out there until about midnight and after we headed to L.A to a famous taco truck called Leo’s taco truck!! And the tacos were so tasty!! So good!!

Oh and I forgot to mention, We also did a 3 hour whale watching tour and omg it was such an amazing experience. Unfortunately we didn't see any whales but we only saw about 50 dolphins!! It was sooo amazing I don't even know how to explain or tell you guys how cool it was. Not only that but we also saw 2 sunfish, which is the heaviest known bone fish. They were so cool! Something about seeing animals out in the deep ocean where they belong is very beautiful seeing them in their own element and happy as can be! Going on that boat trip was probably my favorite part of the whole trip!

Anyways, we did so much I don't even know how to tell you everything without writing a whole book. But we had a total of a 5 day vacation and it was so much fun and it wasn't that expensive either. If you guys have any questions at all please don't hesitate to ask and I will be more than happy to answer. I will attach a couple photos below. I will actually be going to San Diego again in a week so I will have a San Diego Post coming soon!! Hopefully with more pictures too. Thank you guys for reading have a beautiful night and may your week be amazing and full of joy!

Balancing the Negative with the Positive

Hello Everyone!! I apologize for taking so long to write another post ... but then again I say that about every time I make a post. But i'm trying, I promise! Sometimes it's hard for me to sit down and write a post midst of all the other things going on in my life. But i’m doing this because it’s something that I love to do and sometimes I feel that people stop doing things they love to do because they are too distracted with other life situations.

A lot has been changing in my life as of recent and most of it is for the good. But as we all know .. change can be scary and it can bring a whole new wave of emotions. Lately I have been feeling a mix of negative and positive emotions. I just moved out of my parents house and i've been living in my own place now with my significant other. Moving in with a loved one has always been one of my biggest dreams … It’s like in the movies when you get the key to your house and your S/O sweeps you off your feet and everything in life is amazing and your head is in the clouds. That is until reality comes and knocks your head out of the clouds.

Although I want this to be a happy post about how amazing my life is. It’s not. Life is about dealing with the good and bad that comes at you but it’s up to you to decide what impact it has on you. Ive cried at night but i've also laughed so hard my stomach hurts. There's been an abundance of obstacles I have had to go over in the past two months. Living with someone who isn't my immediate family has definitely been different. Not living in the house i've been in since I was 8 has been unfamiliar to me. Knowing my parents aren't always in the same house as I has been sad. But having my own freedom has been liberating.

Living with my boyfriend has been hard yet rewarding. We have been learning a lot about each other and it has been difficult getting used to each others ways. But it's a beautiful thing going to sleep and waking up next to each other every night/morning. We have gotten in a couple arguments and it’s been heartbreaking but at the end of the day we still love each other.

I don't know what the future holds or what life has in store for me but either way I will wake up each day with a smile on my face, heart full of love and live with the intention to be happy.

P.S this song is really sweet and I can really relate to it right now with the situations i've been facing. I will copy a stanza but if any of you guys can relate in any way, you should listen it’s super sweet. “Sweet Creature” by Harry Styles.

Sweet creature
Had another talk about where it's going wrong
But we're still young
We don't know where we're going
But we know where we belong”

Thank you guys for reading this post. I hope to write soon. I will be going to San Diego over the weekend I will be sure to write a post on it!! I hope you guys have a great week/month/year!!
